Good ole' Columbus, the capital of Ohio. An aspiring hitchhiker really shouldnt visit this dull place, but if you do, some places you might consider visiting: The Downtown Main Library. Even if your not into books, its got a huge cafe, rental hall, millions of books, tapes, CDs, videos, and other forms of media. If your looking for information, and in Columbus, this is the best place to go, other than the internet. If animals are you interest then the Columbus Zoo is where you really should go. Were fairly large, and we just got some new pandas and some monkeys. Its pretty fun, if you can find your way around. If you have kids that like water amusement parks (c'mon, we know the truth, you like them as much as your kids do!) then Wyandot Lake is pretty fun. Water slides that are as tall as 100ft into the air. Conviently located right by the Columbus Zoo. Theres this small place next to the McDonalds of Morse Rd. Its called Yoagies Hoagies, and they make the best damn subs (or hoagies or submarine or hero or whatever you call the long itallian sandwich) youve ever tasted! Well, that _ive_ ever tasted, I dont know about you. Theyre pretty good, stop in for a cheap bite to eat. Odd Lots, theres a few of these stores lying around. If you need a towel, or anything else for that matter, Odd Lots has it, and they have low prices, too. They specialize in used materials, though, so this is not the place to buy your underware. Garage Sales/Yard Sales. Theses things are fun. People sell their old junk on their yard for usually under $20. Cheap bargains, and theyre at least worth a look. While your here, be sure to check out the museums and other things we have lying around downtown. Theyve got some of the most cultural peices your likely to find, and, uhm, if your into art, go to one of the museums downtown. We have some great abstract things! Thats about it, if you happen to find anything that I havent listed that is worth a view, then just e-mail me and I'll add it and give you credit. Remember, this may be a pretty dull town, but its _my_ dull town dammit %e *EOA*
