Besides recording your mind onto disk, a complete scan of your voice patterns and a 3-D scan of your body is performed. Eventually,complex computer software interlaces your mind,voice pattern and three dimensional body image together.Once the interlace is complete the computer adds an "H"(that looks like paper or plastic) on to the 3-D body images forehead.This is done so people will identify the individual as a hologram. Why would anyone go through the complex process of setting up a hologram of him/her self?People have different reasons.Some wish to live forever while others are forced to create a "holo dupe" by the company they work for.Whatever the reason,although they have the same apperance(except for the "H") and personality,holograms are nothing but colored light patterns produced by a small marble-like floating projector called a "light-bee". Holograms are a new underclass.Deprived of physical touch,holograms are often a sad somber group.There are many holographic slurs ranging from "electronic ghost" to "deadies".However,even deprived of touch,holograms can still enjoy their senses by having smells and the taste of foods by uploading them directly to their senses. There is a legend of one hologram whose light-bee was installed with a mystical piece of hardware called the "hardlight drive" that enabled this hologram to touch things and once again be just like a human.The legend also tells that the hologram that this grand gift was bestowed upon was the wormiest,meanest,most demented hologram that was ever activated.But you can never be sure about legends...
