The code that you will put on your page will look something like this:

<!-- Begin PGG WebRing HTML -->
<center>
<font size="-1">
Member of the <a href="http://www.galactic-guide.com/webring">Project Galactic Guide</a> WebRing <br>
[ <a href="http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=pgg;id=_yourID_;prev">Previous</a>
| <a href="http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=pgg;random">Random</a>
| <a href="http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=pgg;id=_yourID_;next">Next</a>
| <a href="http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=pgg;list">List Sites</a> ]
</font>
</center>
<!-- End PGG WebRing HTML -->

Replace _yourID_ with your ring id number. Don't worry about it -- you will get the correct html by email as soon as you sign on.

You must place this link section on the front page of your site or at maximum one click away from it (on a link page for example)! It must be the same page as the one that you have specified in the form above.

Once in a while I run a program that check all the sites in the ring for the ring code - this means that you have to place the code on the url specified below and that you should not modify the code in anyway.

Here's what happens after your have submitted the above form:

  1. You will be added to a queue - you are not on the webring yet!
  2. You will get an email containing the HTML that you should add to your page. Please add it to the page reached through the URL you type in the form above. Please do not modify the code in anyway (checking of placement is done by a program).
  3. I'll check the queue for new entries once a week and will find your submission there - I'll have a look at your site and if I find the WebRing link section on it and if I find that your page fits in the webring, I'll add your page to the ring (you will get an email to that effect).
  4. If I don't find the WebRing link section I'll check your page again later (it will be deleted from the queue after 14 days - click here to check if you are in the queue).
  5. If I didn't find that your page fits within the scope of the WebRing, I'll will mail you and explaning why you haven't been added to the PGG WebRing.
  6. Once in a while I check all pages in the ring - If this program doesn't find the ring code you will be moved to the queue.
